Not sure which is more entertaining here Jim!
Great shot and the best "go fund me" I've seen in quite some time! Might it be possible to donate some of the local slugs and snails that are inundating my property here in rainy Washington? Or maybe Liz could embark on a road trip? I would be much obliged to pay for gas and expenses for the journey if need be! Back to the main point, the image or your candid replies??? I choose your responses but only by a slim margin. Shhhh! Don't tell her I said so but that is one beautiful lizard!!
Rob

You'll spring for gas AND expenses, Rob? Liz --and I, her chauffeur-- are ALL IN for a road trip up to your land of Slugs & Snails. She's often dreamed of sampling some savory escargot from the Pacific Northwest --the slugs and such she'd sampled from elsewhere she found unappealing (though that may have been a result of a use of a lesser grade of garlic'd butter the gas station supplied in the place she dined? I dunno....) and somewhat 'gritty'.

As for me, the chauffeur, I've never been to Warshintoon State. What lens should I bring???

Oh? You've finally stepped up to the joys (and heartaches, of which there many) of being slave to a Kitteh, Linda ExMania?

Liz would approve of just such a potential 'friendship'. And she does prefer her kitteh medium rare, if you please.

I have noticed that there is a certain relaxed comfort seen when family members take each other's photogragh. I think I might be seeing some of that here. Siblings under the skin, er scale so to speak. I will say that she is a damn sight better looking than some of my cousins, but we don't care about what they have to say about me. Thanks Jim

Liz is exceptional model material. Her natural colors rival any display lately seen on the runways in Monte Carlo or Paris.

You'd better bring the arsenal, Jim(aka chauffeur). The slugs/snails come in many sizes but none of them need to be far from the lens. Not fast moving critters, nor do they try to escape predatory behavior. Garter snakes learn at a young age that these things secrete such a plethora of slimy mucousy goo that they end up being spit back out quite quickly after the attempt of consumption. I fear Liz may be a little off put, by this self-defense mechanism..... I cannot speak to the grittiness of them but we use nothing but the finest butter and garlic in all the land here!
That being said, perhaps the mountainous vistas and peaks would call for something with a little better reach..... If a trip on the water is in order to visit the Olympic Peninsula(home of the only temperate rain forest in North America and giant Banana Slugs up to 12" long), Orca and Grey whales are always a possibility that may require a good amount of reach as they are granted a "halo" of 200 yards from vessels under power(with motors)!

It might be on a bit of a shoestring budget but if she can stomach these slimy vermin, it would be worth every last penny spent. We do have plenty of room to house you both but she'd need to hold her own against the feline hoard that resides within our domicile!
