He excoriated me for a Typo.
Just letting the jerk know what it is like to have their errors pointed out.
I agree with you and do not comment on them.
But when a jerk attacks me I let them know that they are worthless scum.

Next time we get some Chg Canon Fan Boyz hats in-stock, we'll reach out for your shipping address. Are you going to want small or extra-small?

We'll include a dictionary too so you can read up on the meaning of "excoriated".

Some inconsistency here I think.

Possibly you need a new suit of armor?

Landscape photographers, where you use low ISO and longer exposures, can't really do that without a tripod. Studio photographers, very important. Photographers taking night shots or evening shots, important.
Maybe not necessary for the average snapshooter, or the iPhone photographer, but for the serious photographer, certainly important.

Agree 100%. In certain situations, a tripod or other stationary platform is absolutely necessary to get a sharp image.
Some people may never shoot in low-light situations and may never need a tripod.

I keep hearing that a tripod is very important for studio photography. I did studio photography for many years, and I rarely used a tripod, usually if there was a background lit by ambient light or a background I needed to be level. For shooting people against a plain backdrop using strobes, I saw no need for one, and the ability to rapidly make small adjustments in composition or angle were easier handheld.

Now that is Paul that I like to see. Even though I'am the "Real Slim Shady", Eminem, You have now joined the Club. Perfect comeback. And I was going to go to our Theater room to have a good stiff Crown Royal on the rocks. I'am not worthy. By the way, my Friend just bought the R6 with the adapter to put some old Glass on it, I told Him to buy the 800mm f/11 or should he by a different lens and a Teleconverter, He does a lot of BIF shooting along with other Wildlife and Nature. He is thinking about Landscape too. Any thoughts to pass on would be deeply appreciated.

The RF 800 is a steal if it fits one's shooting style. The RF 100-500L is the other option, but not as economical.

A tripod is "useful" for any exposure that too long for the user to handhold when a usable image is available. Early and late landscape shots immediately come to mind.

Yes, some situations pretty much call for a tripod. The advent of compensating for camera movement, however, has substantially reduced the need for a tripod. Effective handholding technique still helps with attaining a sharp photograph. Most all photographers can leave the tripod home.

One aspect of photography where the tripod will never be obsolete is astrophotography.

I told him that the 800mm was a good Lens for Birding. He does get good shots for BIF's with His 90D, could he get the RF 100-500L and add a teleconverter? And if he goes with that Combo, would Autofocus still perform well? He told me that He just wants to build around this body, yet still have good Glass if He happens to, let's say, upgrade to a better and New Cycle of Canon Mirrorless Body's. Thanks for the input.
