Early morning walk on the beach. These birds decided to check out what I was doing. We experieced alot of weather systems during our stay which made for some really interesting cloud formations.

Love the birds and the structure's architecture on the empty beach with great clouds!
Beautiful image - well done!

It seemed like during our stay at the beach there were constant weather fronts coming in right after another. It made for a very windy stay along with some interesting cloud formations.

Early morning is my favorite time of the day. One because I like the light and two, there usually less people around.

Great shot! This is the kind of photo I can "climb into" and wander around. It brings back memories of many pleasant beach days at North Carolina's Outer Banks. It also evokes thoughts on different feelings and moods and life at the beach in general. I'm with Linda on her comment, except, maybe, the sky.....? I often find skies overpowering, drowning out other visuals in the picture. That's not the case here, but I do wonder what mood a more "minimalist"(?) sky could bring to this image. A stark image of the structure in a setting devoid of frolicking, carefree beach people conjures up thoughts of solitude and mystery. The birds (cormorants?) fit into that, but I wonder about the sky. Not to take anything away from the image as it is, just engaging in ruminations of "what if"....
Don't know if any of this makes sense to anybody else, but thanks for stirring my imagination!
