Great shot! This is the kind of photo I can "climb into" and wander around. It brings back memories of many pleasant beach days at North Carolina's Outer Banks. It also evokes thoughts on different feelings and moods and life at the beach in general. I'm with Linda on her comment, except, maybe, the sky.....? I often find skies overpowering, drowning out other visuals in the picture. That's not the case here, but I do wonder what mood a more "minimalist"(?) sky could bring to this image. A stark image of the structure in a setting devoid of frolicking, carefree beach people conjures up thoughts of solitude and mystery. The birds (cormorants?) fit into that, but I wonder about the sky. Not to take anything away from the image as it is, just engaging in ruminations of "what if"....

Don't know if any of this makes sense to anybody else, but thanks for stirring my imagination!

Thank you for your feedback. I'm glad it brought back memories. Yes your comments make sense. The sky in this image is what did it for me. While walking down the beack that morning I was following the sunrise and the changing sky when I came upon that Life Guard stand and that was what I was looking for. Something different besides beach umbrellas. The seagulls were the cheeries on top of the whip cream. LOL. The lighting was great, all the elements just came togehter. Sometimes I just get lucky.

I forgot to add my admiration for what you and others here are able to coax out of your IPhones. I'm in the market for a new phone and you, Wingpilot and others have sure inspired me to lust for the IPhone 13 Pro Max!

There are other good Smartphones on the market, Samsung being one of them. I am using an IPhone because that's what I started out with and just stayed with the brand. IPhone 6, IPhone 8+ and now the 13 Pro Max. Each one has been an improvement over the last.
