Has anyone used Weebly or any other FREE website builder? If so how do you like it?
I have and they are fine if all you want to do is show your work to friends and family.

My wife built my website using Weebly. I can add or delete photos and modify text very easily and I'm a total computer gumby. I like it - seems simple. She put music to it - think this cost a few bucks.
Check it out with your sound on.

I've used Weebly for a couple of years for my rental home business and it works great. Very easy to use. Very easy to upload photos of the homes for rent as well as add new pages. Our site is GarcoHomes.com if you'd like to check out an ultra basic site. I'm not sure how effective it would be for a photo site, if that's what you have in mind, but my guess is it'll work fine.
I use weebly and it is FREE...however, I pay a pittance and have my own domain so that I have taken the word weebly out of my website address...EASY to use and edit!! Check out my web page:

Thanks everyone I enjoyed viewing your websites. I certainly envy those of you that have had the opportunity to photograph Africa. Jim
Our Camera Club uses Weebly and it works out great. Members have then branched out and linked back to the camera club. Check out our web site:

That Camera Club site was done in Weebly? It's great. Can you find out if there's a way to link your photos that are stored in Google Photo or Flickr to a Weebly Gallery? I would like to avoid having to locate the images on my computer if possible. The link function in Weebly Gallery is not working. I think there is a pre-requisite of some sort to get Weebly and Google Photo or FLICKR to shake hands.
I have been away from that Camera Club to long to have any knowledge you may be looking for. Sorry.
I have two, did have three, Weebly websites. Love the software. Very easy, a drag and drop approach. As with any website development, it helps to have some graphic art background, but even if you don't have that you can simply use, without any changes, one of the many templates they provide.
