Is that your photo? Nicely done. I'd have gone for the PenF except not water resistant. It is a nice looking piece of kit.

Yes this is my photo. This small camera is loaded, even with some features my Fuji X-T2 doesn't have. I've always been very careful outside with my cameras and probably would just avoid the rain in return for the fun of using this camera.

Outer uglee: Cluttered and awkward.
Inner uglee: Fake retro controls.

Disclaimer: Not needed. Owner and user of both versions.

Prefer'd the original but using the reissue.

I respect your opinion

I have a Fuji MX 3 and it is a beautiful camera. Looks like and old rangefinder of the 60's era

I agree that mirrorless cameras generally tend to look more distinctive and less generic than their DSLR counterparts. Perhaps the absence of the mirror box hump gives manufacturers more freedom in design.

I see all these new expensive cameras ..
especially the four thirds etc and notice how
ugly they look ..

Brutal designs , harsh square lines and corners.
Plastic looking ... dont look like high quality cameras at all .

Panasonic , Sony , Fuji .. are the worst .
They look ' cheap and nasty ' but are ' Expensive and nasty '

The DSLR so far have kept with good traditional lines ..

I couldn’t agree with you less. I LOVE the look of my Fuji’s, and think they look just as good as my old Minolta if not better.

Well I found your comment “ Exactly....most mirrorless cameras look like they were cloned after one another, DSLR cameras had character” to be pretty funny. There are basically three companies that still make DSLR’s and there’s not that much different about them. Outside of the fact that they’re all flatter and thinner due to the lack of a mirror I find more diversity in appearance than I do between Nikon and Canon DSLR’s. Really though, cameras are functional products. Form follows function and they’re all made to do the same thing.

I'm glad you found my comment amusing but all i was trying to say is i have both mirrorless and DSLR cameras. I like the look and feel of a DSLR over mirrorless. The DSLR has rounded off corners which makes it more comfortable in my hand. I'm not picking one system over the other as far as the final product.

Well the words you used sure seemed to imply that all mirrorless look alike and DSLR’s don’t. I see more variety in mirrorless than DSLR’s.

It looks like we are getting contentious. Where is that old fellow from Wisconsin now that we need him?

The Canon film cameras had the most classic look, F-1, A-1, EF.
