Hot air balloons.
No. Just to jump out of one. Which is a nightmare for planning and executing.

Just curious, has anyone here gone aloft in a hot air balloon to take photographs? I found a site that offers early morning (dawn) rides near Sedona Az.
I have taken a couple of helicopter ride from Sedona and got some great shots.
Take the ride and you'll be able to see different angles which will give you a whole new perspective on things. I went up once in Charlotte, NC and 3 times in Yangshuo, China and couldn't get enough shots. Have fun and enjoy your flight.

It sounds like a blast. I can’t do heights so I’m out.
What do you mean? I thought I would be too afraid to pilot a plane. Wifey gave me a birthday present of a flying lesson. I did it all. From radioing the tower to taxing on the runway. Up in the air and flying for two hours. I even landed the plane (Piper Cherokee) on what looked like a pencil line from 4 Thousand feet down to a paint line about 50 inches wide. WHAT A RUSH!
Instructor took the video. It was great!
In a hot air balloon you get to relax and enjoy the clouds and gracefully pass the time away. Use a 50mm or so lens to get great shots and 1:1 ratio.
Oh…. I forgot to mention. Take a Pulse Oximeter with you. It tells you your oxygen saturation in the blood (which will increase slightly) and your pulse rate (which will decrease) as you relax more and more. Ya gotta have some fun!
2002 Albuquerque International Hot Air Balloon Festival - My wife and I were on the balloon. Well worth taking your camera with you

Not to be a Kiljoy, but Juan Brown (commercial pilot the Broncolirio channel on YouTube) said that many commercial pilots avoid flying in, or piloting, small planes because they lack the many of the safety features found on commercial airliners.

Absolutely! Well worth it. Depending where you fly is what you will see but the experience is fantastic. The Lake Tahoe Balloon ride is the only one in the world that both launches and lands on a boat. They pretty much always fly in the morning to take advantage of the cooler air so be prepared to get up early.

A few years ago my Bride and I and one other couple
whom we did not know, took an early (very early, just at sunrise)
balloon ride in North Carolina. Took some pictures that came
out fine. No fog or mist that morning.
