Both are good but have a slightly different message, each appealling to a different aesthetic point of view, as reflected in the nearly balanced responses. Degustibus non disputum est!

Likewise - I'm a big fan of B&W but the soft pastels tell a better story for this image. Great composition.

I would go with the colour. A couple of other points to think about. You appear to have some blown highlights that in my view catch the eye. A border around the black image may also help.

Definitely color...what's the story in black and white? And I freely admit that I am very biased...most of the time on here if I open a black and white I close it before it loads. Life is in color!
