Great shots coj. Two years ago I went to Whitesbog NJ to attempt to see them, but the majority had already left the bogs to go further north. There was even a great presentation about the snow geese before we treked out to the bogs to see them. But as I said, the had already left the area. So I said to myself "I'll get them next year".
If you want a guaranteed sighting, use the GPS on the car to go to Merrill Creek Reservoir, Harmony, NJ. When you get there, there are three parking areas. The first uses an unimproved road, 3/4 mile hike to the dam for the best viewing. Best times are mid February to mid March, after that they return to the north.
