Wonderful landscapes! Even the UFO fits the criteria; a bit fuzzy, could be something else, arouses passionate debate and conjecture, etc...

Thank you! The debate and conjecture will never end. Until the Gubment comes clean about area 51, In my defense, I was concentrating on a sharp landscape and entirely missed the (UFO ) until later. But I'm pretty sure I can see some little faces in that bottom row of windows.

Thanks very much! I used to do almost 90% landscapes in medium format film. I loved it and still do it occasionally, but digital is it for me, these days. I use full frame digital cameras for the most part now and the world is a sweet place to be! Now if I could just go full medium format digital- Whoo haah!

Note the UFO in the first one. My story and I'm sticking with it.
I hope you like them.

Excellent series, Chief. Looks like a target rich environment, for a camera that is.

north dakota looks like the place to go for beauty and ufo surprises, rcpo...
nice colorful shots of north dakota country!

Thank you! Actually, I prefer the Southwest for Landscapes. But that is being done to death these days- and not very well- with a few notable exceptions.
I think of myself primarily as a wildlife photographer, but that could change. I used to do, almost exclusively, landscapes with a medium format film camera. I'm a reluctant post processor but I think I will have to start doing focus stacking if I get back into landscapes.
As for UFOs.....

You have captured ND in spectacular cloud spotted lighting that turns this landscape into a thing of great beauty.

Thank you, Hereford. Very kind of you to say and I do appreciate it!
They're not in the same league as a good shot of a Rocky Mountain Big Horn Sheep or a Moose jumping over a fence, but I like them. If I could combine the two into one...Now that would be cool!!

Thank you! Yes, it is. I think I could spend a lifetime within a 250 mile radius of there and not see everything worth seeing! I'm glad you liked my photos.
