Maybe it’s because we have become so use to Lightroom and Photoshop we cannot appreciate nature the way it is

it seems sharp, has lots of features, color, detail and would make a good wall hanger in a doctors office.

I like it, too. I think it has to do with natural textures, colors, and subject. I often do this type of photo.

I call them "Mother Nature's mini-tableaux" and you can find them everywhere if you look at the small stuff around. Yes, I like "grandeur" landscapes, but the "minis" have, such as in this case, many more features such as colors, textures, mini-details (like the fungi growing on the rocks). There's lots to see in this picture...thanks
