If you ever heard one of those running They make a lot of noise. We have a farm show here in the spring. The farmers bring all kinds of things that makes you say, what dose that thing do???

indeed it is, along a backroad, in a field
J. I Case made steam-powered tractors from the 1870s until 1927. They were painted black & green (sort of a "John Deere Green") long before John Deere came along (he didn't enter the harvesting business until 1919).
Case started making gas-powered tractors in 1904, painted grey.
In 1939 they changed the color scheme to Flambeau Red & Ruddy Yellow.
