A visiting friend asked to go shooting with me yesterday on her way home. As Winter here is rather drab, I was trying to think of someplace to go that might offer something worthy of shooting. After a while, I remembered this old relic, but couldn’t find it, as it had been over a year since I had last seen it. We ended up in an old cemetery instead. On the way back home, I went a different way and finally found it.

At some point in time this was technologically the top of the line equipment. Its time in that spotlight was very short-lived. Bet it was fun to watch in action. "New paint and wheels............................!" Very well shot, thanx.

Great photos of an amazing machine! Looks like a steam-engine train designer decided to make a farm tractor. Just imagining this thing new and in the fields, & the conditions under which it was finally parked here how many years ago. What an amazing sound it must have made! Especially like #s 3 & 5; like a machine out of Mad Max. Glad you found it and shared it with us!

Great photos. I especially like the last one showing the vast open area where this beauty was left to rest.

Great set. That old relic belongs in a museum somewhere.

That is correct! I was curious as to the date of manufacture.
