No need to rush. Little benefit to upgrade and Win-10 is to be supported until 2025! 11 is still buggy and a come on to get you into windows store, etc.

Because Windows 7 has not been supported with security updates for over two years now. Your computer is growing increasingly vulnerable to hackers/malware/key loggers/spyware/viruses of many types. And no, your anti-virus software can't stop it all. It, too, relies on Windows updates to close vulnerabilities. You may already be broadcasting everything you do to identity thieves and not realize it.

I have it on three computers in my house. No issues at all but I don't like how they have changed some of the menus for no reason at all - just to be different.
Windows 10 support ends fall 2025.

I plan to upgrade in the fall of 2025!

Wish I hadn't loaded Windows11--my old Epson Scanner isn't compatible with it.

buy VueScan and use that to control your scanner, great program and worth every penny rather than changing to a newer scanner. I have the Mac version, I am sure there is a Windows version. Even though the scanner maker is not making a new driver for the new operating systems, VueScan still operates the scanners with all their features.

We are still using a Canoscan 9000 that hasn't been supported for a few years now. VueScan works for most scanners.
