Since I installed Win 11 my Epson Stylus PHOTO R1900 does not behave when printing with Lightroom Classic. Driver for this printer in Win 11 is NOT available, at least not in USA

I have it on three computers in my house. No issues at all but I don't like how they have changed some of the menus for no reason at all - just to be different.
Windows 10 support ends fall 2025.
By 2025 I probably will be in the market for a new PC so maybe I'll just wait.
Using windows 11 for a month now on my i5 desktop no issues - very stable and snappy. Note that some apps may need an update/upgrade. Strangely enough the MS update app on my i7 Dell laptop says that my 8-core processor is not supported for win 11 !! After digging around a bit I found out that MS arbitrarily set the cutoff for Intel processor support at 8th-gen and later....the laptop is 7th gen. I also found out that you could get around this by manually downloading the iso file from MS and running the "update" that way....however I will wait some more as they are still supporting win 10 until 2025 so there is some time. Win 11 is not such an "amazing" update that you need to rush into it....improvements are more internal regarding privacy and security but there are a few handy features for the desktop.
I just bought a new computer. It came with SSD and windows 11. No problems so far.
my computer I built 1 1/2 ago is not able to update I need the new security chip
My Epson V600 is not compatible with Windows 10.
The tabs on the scanner itself do not work
I have experienced problems downloading to upgraded windows.
If I want to upgrade to a new version I buy a new computer. The internal components are designed specifically to to work with that system. And it's free from hidden infections and viruses.
All my computers, two laptops and one desktop, will not accept 11 so I'm waiting until they either die or Windows 10 will no longer work for me, then maybe I'll get a new computer with 11 installed.

Need opinions on Windows 11. Is it a stable platform or are there a lot of bug fixes that need to be made.
Thanks for your comments.

ALL new versions of software are buggy. Wait until a couple of point releases have come out before installing it, especially an OS.

Why upgrade? You aren't gaining anything great. Wait a year.
This the best advice of all.

I doubt that you need anything but the TPM needs to be turned on in the BIOS/UEFI. You also have to be running Secure Boot.

i agree with that 100% unless you have a computer with 12th Gen CPU.

If you wait too long the upgrade may no longer be free.
I thought that there was a cost attributed with going to Windows 11?
