I have trouble finding the multi pacs (24-30) size of Fancy Feast. So far induvial cans no problem.

We get ours from either Chewy or Amazon. Haven't had any problems. I argue with my wife that Hormel canned chicken breast, when it is BOGO at our nearby Publix (about once a month) is much cheaper than canned catfood and looks a heck of a lot more edible, but she won't let me get it for the cat.
No problem down here.
"Hugo" eats canned food, dry food, and fresh raw chicken necks, 3 joint wings,
chicken maryland and drum sticks, kangaroo and horse, he eats most of the bones (chicken not horse) as well.
Occasionally he helps himself to food on my dinner plate, and he likes
my Weeties with milk too.
I'm sure some would be appalled watching the both of us eat weeties
out of the same bowl LOL.
Grocery store shelves have been devoid of Yoo-Hoo for a couple of months. Didn’t know that many people liked it.

Here in RI I can’t get any friskies canned cat food. BJ’s is all sold out on the 48 pack. I don’t think Chewy has any either. The problem is not just the food, it’s the tin they come in. Can’t get that either.
Canned pet food (Dog and cat) is in short supply because humans aren't eating as much meat. (By choice, limited supply or high price, I don't know.)
Canned pet food is made up almost entirely of the scraps of meat left over when making human cuts of meat. No one uses human grade cuts of meat to make pet food despite the pictures in ads and the package.

Gilbert occasionally comes by when I'm eating cereal and although he isn't interested in the cereal he drinks the milk. I share.
I don't demand that he reciprocate. I'm not interested in his food.

So leave some scraps from your dinner and feed your pet. It sounds like it's much the same thing.
It's up to you whether you let your cat up on your table to eat or not. I usually put a small bowl on the floor with samples and if he likes them I drop some more in there. But he will jump up on the table if I'm not quick enough to refill his bowl.

Our cat has urinary problem and can only use a prescription cat food. Wife used to get it from a vet and it was expensive. Switched to Chewey and it comes regularly and at less cost but does still require a prescription from a vet.

Cat food and dog food have vitamins and minerals added to it that the pet need. The Hormel does not have these and the cat will not get the nutrients it needs to live.
Cats must have Taurine to live which is why it is added to cat foodDodie

You can get vitamins for cats that have Taurine in them. Add them to food that is deficient of vitamins and you're OK.

My Persian Cat likes Fancy Feast Salmon, chicken, and Tuna Florentine in the 3oz cans. Can't find it anywhere unless you get lucky just at the right time from Chewy. I'm getting back on their "autoship" program. My poor spoiled Kitty is mad at me! Salmon Florentine; come on Millie, I don't even eat that fancy!!!

We don't seem to have run out of regular canned cat food in Toronto. However, my neighbour has been unable to get the special diet food her cat needs.

Hard to find here on Eastern Shore Virginia too. This was the cat food section of the shelf at the local supermarket
last week.
