South & East Asia 12 - China/Sichuan 11: Jiuzhaigou 2 - Long Lake in Zechawa Valley
This is my second post covering the Long Lake. I repeat the information I provided yesterday on this lake:
The LONG LAKE (长海) is crescent-shaped and is the highest, largest and deepest lake in Jiuzhaigou, measuring 7.5 km (5 mi) in length and up to 103 m / 340 ft in depth and is situated at an altitude of 3,150 m / 10,300 ft. It has no outgoing waterways, getting its water from snowmelt and losing it from seepage. Local folklore features a monster in its depths.

My favorite is #8, despite it not being a reflection photo! Surprise! #1 and #7 are very close behind. As always, I like your collection. It’s a beautiful area as well as beautiful photos.
Thank you Bill for your word of appreciation!

Thank you Ellen, yes you surprised me as I was betting on you rooting for one of the reflections - but surprises are always good and I certainly do like that #8 shot as well!
