Thanks Mike, I love reflections and love to play around with them so you will se a bunch more, especially with the lakes up here in Jiuzhaigou, there will be one lake, the Five -Flower-Lake coming up a bit later that is just about all about reflections - I was in the seventh heaven there!

This is my second post covering the Long Lake. I repeat the information I provided yesterday on this lake:

The LONG LAKE (长海) is crescent-shaped and is the highest, largest and deepest lake in Jiuzhaigou, measuring 7.5 km (5 mi) in length and up to 103 m / 340 ft in depth and is situated at an altitude of 3,150 m / 10,300 ft. It has no outgoing waterways, getting its water from snowmelt and losing it from seepage. Local folklore features a monster in its depths.

Thank you philo for looking in on my new travelogue and your kind comment, I am glad to hear that you enjoyed the set. Plenty more images to come on this tour in upcoming posts, so I invite you to look in whenever you have a chance.

BTW, I just noticed from your recent two posts that you are heading for South Africa: Wonderful country with so much different things to see (and to eat!) - have a great trip!

Stunning views and reflections, Joe! I think, some of your compositions reminiscent Eastern Asian Art style! Well done!
