A little soft.
The white on the lower left is distracting.
The two colors and the horizontal break in the middle of the bird is distracting.
The composition is very nice.
Out of focus and I agree with other, the white distraction on the left.
Blurry, not worthy of posting here.

That unique pose was worth keeping and sharing - blurry or not. It would have been gone in another instant - little time to think about settings. Well done to the OP.

The OP asked for a critique, which I would interpret as as a helpful discussion of deficiencies with helpful suggestions directed toward ways to improve. Many other members were able to do this.
I’ve not been able to locate the “standards of worthiness for posting here”, but I did find the following;
Quoted from the Gallery Rules:
“ - Please don't judge others too harshly. Even though people usually ask for an honest opinion, please don't forget that we aren't all professional photographers with the best gear available. So please don't insult other users if something isn't up to your own standards.”

Tinyman, I’ve watched your posts for years (possibly even under a different name previously?) and I’ve seen a steady improvement over that time. There are times that focus isn’t “tack sharp” like some of the ‘experts’ posting on here, but I know that feeling, it happens to everyone (they just don’t show their misses). This bird’s pose / attitude is charming and I understand the appeal of the shot. As mentioned by others the white on the lower left is a major distraction, sometimes we get so focused on our subject we forget to look at the rest of the viewfinder, however it’s easily fixed by cropping in post. This was not your best work and I suspect that’s why you asked for critique. You’re on the right path.
If you are serious about the critique, then you need to upload an original file so we can see the settings. This photo is blurry and therefore not a keeper.
I went back and looked at some of your other photos and see the same issue. Of course, without seeing the exif data on this pic, we are guessing, but is it possible that you are using a short lens and trying to crop so much that the shot is blurry? Bird pics have to be absolutely sharp if the bird is not moving. So please take moment to upload the original.
Best regards,
