The focus is not exceptionally sharp. The composition is good. The large white area in the lower-left corner is a bit of a distraction.

I've been following your posts for quite a while. It's obvious that you love photographing birds, and that you have many willing subjects. You have, however, a problem with focus: your subjects and their backgrounds are never sharp. It may be either your equipment, your camera settings, or camera movement. Are you using a tripod? Are you shooting with a zoom lens at its maximum extension? What aperture are you set at? What shutter speed?

Hi
Great pose. I've cropped your pic to my favourite 4/3 format and ran it through EasyPhoto Unblur, keeping in mind the possibiliity of introducing artefacts (aka artyfarts). I took account of what other Hogs said.
Here it is....

Thanks for posting.

I'd crop out the blown out left side entirely. The image of the bird is fuzzy. If that were my shot, I'd definitely engage Topaz sharpen AI to render the subject better. Some folks enjoy shooting wildlife in nature, the better to enjoy the full range of its natural environment. IMO, It's not the close-up that's most meaningful. It's how the subject interacts with its surroundings.
