This wasn't our first snowfall of the winter by any means, but we got about five inches which at least makes things look nice. So, I left the dogs in the house for a change (there's no way I can get photos while walking them), grabbed my camera and and headed out in the 2° f, absolutely clear blue sky weather. My mustache & beard were brittle in a few seconds, but there was no wind so it wasn't bad. The camera held up beautifully & didn't need to change batteries.

Beautiful. 5" tells us you are not located along Lake Michigan's shoreline or you would have received more depth. Many people might miss your shot of the tree wearing its snow on only one side. Best indication of the direction the weather travelled. In the Traverse City area we received from 5 to 10 inches and this weather did not come from the east. As of today 3 of our 5 snowfalls have come in from the east, not the most ideal experience. Your usual car-shoots all seem. to emanate from sunny California but today you stayed close to home. Michigan sunshine gave you the touch needed for wonderful scenic landscapes. "Good dog-stay" suites your shooting very well.
