I'm finding my perception of each photo is different. In the color shot I see two guys hanging out in goofy chairs on the street, and in the BW shot I see two people having an intense conversation. But that's me. I think you did a good job on the bw conversion because the tonality is quite good.
I like the B&W better.
This is also one of those pictures that you could leave the subjects, including chairs, in color with the rest in black and white.
Very nice image.

It depends on wether you want the subject to be the people or the chairs. I find the chairs more interesting than the people in this photo. So I would choose the color because it makes the chairs the subject.
I prefer the b&w version.

The decision to produce color or b&w images is totally yours. You are the photographer and it is YOUR work. You should present it as you wish.

I like them both. The bright colors of those unusual chairs is something you would want to be a key element in the image, for one perspective. But on the other hand, without those bright colors, one focuses more on the interaction of the individuals in the image.

Both are very good, but personally, color.
B&W.......is more dramatic.....I don't like the item attached to the gentleman's head on the right side ,though, and would have edited that out of the final image but that's a personal choice. The colored version , to me, is lack-luster and boring and uninteresting. The chairs are creative and different. Thank you.
Black and white. In it, I see the scene; in the color, I see red and blue.

B&W the colors my opinion distracts the eye from what’s going on in the photo.

The two subjects stand out either way, but I like the color more.

I practically always prefer color. Espescially for this photo.
