I like viewing nude women as much (maybe more) than any man, but, I think we've seen Layla in every possible pose. Admittedly, most were not very artistic. Short of out right porno, what more could she show us? I'm hoping Layla's replacement is coming soon.

I saved the pm you first sent me about Layla, but out of respect to the forum I will not publish that perverted garbage. I first came here to show my reimagined new polaroids and I will leave if my time here is irritating people. I've been polite and respectful...if you had a beef with me you could have pm'd me and we could.ve worked it out.
I have no beef with you or Layla. I just think we've been over exposed. And my private message to you is my thoughts then and now.
I wonder if Laylafan has any other models to show?
Laylafan?

I would like to know why you have to insist others do as you would when in fact it really doesn’t impact you? If you don’t like the posts don’t open them.

you have no beef with me/us yet you started a public thread or post entitled "Layla Burnout" odd to me
Well, here we go again. Just like with Timmers. So, as Valen just posted and I have said in the past, if you don’t like the photos on this forum, don’t look at them. After all, the postings and photos themselves are a fiat accompli in this section of the Hog. If you have something to say, make it substantive.
Frankly, this is my favorite section of UHH; not that I don’t like other sections but I enjoy it the most. And thanks to Timmers, I had one chance to shoot this kind of art, learning some of the techniques from Timmers for which I’ll always be grateful. For those who can shoot this art and wish to post it, know that I and others fully support you. I, frankly, don’t give a damn that some find it unseemly.
I'm not tired of seeing pics of Layla, quite the contrary. I look forward to them and find them mostly interesting and refreshing.

I apologize, but I don’t remember seeing other models by you. There are some, if you say. I just don’t remember. All I meant was that I am somewhat tired of Layla in general. She is a good model and you got lucky to shoot her for so long, but intersperse her with others to hold our interest. That’s all. Not looking for a spat, by any means.
Not sure why anyone would want LaylaFan to stop posting images of Layla. First, this is a forum to share ones work for critique and for fun regardless of if you have shoot 1 model or 1000. I know LaylaFan has gotten some critiques and I really hope he has had some fun. I know I have had a nice time looking at the images, which are diverse enough and over a long enough period that I actually feel like I know a tiny chapter in Layla's life, which I think is pretty cool. Sorta like Jim's work, I feel like I get a little window into his life growing up through his images and that is pretty cool too. Second, lets be honest, there are only 6-8 people who post here regularly or even semi-regularly even though some images have thousands of views. I for one would not want to lose any of the few regular posters. Third, many of the LaylaFan's posts actually have her name in the title, just skip them and even for the ones that don't, just look for LaylaFans posts and skip those occasionally, knowing you may miss a thought provoking image or even an image of a different model. I personally would rather look at a few images of the beautiful, naked lady that we have gotten to know a bit than have no posts here. It's not like there is a limit of posts per day that the site can take and images of Layla are taking up more than their fair share!

I must say that at times this section does drag on to the point of utterly boring and repetitious. And that, no doubt, is promoted and provoked by the salubrious and encouraging remarks that perpetuate the issue by seemingly "lacking" viewers' opinions. There are a number of posters on here that peddle the same real low grade stuff (and I am certainly not naming anyone here): out-of-focus, badly exposed, less than complimentary view point that receive glowing reviews, which are, in reality, diabolical! denigrates the whole section massively, to me. Obviously all of our standards and areas of expertise vary massively. And the whole point here is that we are meant to be growing as photographers and in our views on this area of photography. But for goodness sake lets gets some semblance of reality, normality, and quality back to this section. Most of the stuff on here now is real dribble and not worthy of comment and worth ignoring, yet this rubbish seems to be hugely encouraged. I repeat: at this time my view is not publicly directed at a particular poster, and not this poster in particular, more the current standard in general which is pretty damn low!
Thank you for sharing her photos, she is far more attractive the some i have saw posted here and are tastefully done.
As the old saying goes if ya seen 1 naked woman ya seen um all ( but I do like a bit of variety ) keep up the good work .

I think for me the repetitiveness of Layla shots has not been the number of images, but rather repeat postings of the same image. Some were the lead shot of a post, but then added later to another post. If these shots I am referring to were not exactly the same shot, they certainly looked very similar to me, and that is what I found a bit tiresome.
In contrast, Amoreena shots have been fairly numerous as well, but if I recall correctly they are all unique... and not tiresome by any stretch.
And while we are in a forum content & protocol critiquing mood, let me air another of my quibbles... is it really necessary to thank every poster for every comment? Some comments/critiques deserve a clarifying response from the OP or further discussion from other viewers; but a "thank you" for every simple "thumbs-up" is a bit much (IMHO). How about just a "thanks to all..." after a few pages?
