It was an old fashioned Christmas, vintage ornaments, lights aglow, snow falling, love abounding. We are blessed and I hope you were too.

Looks great Pat

Well it's been the second Covid Christmas and we had hoped last year that that would be the only one. Who knows when we will have another safe Christmas, like the good old days. Every year I would create a Christmas card and we'd send them out and last year was the first year I did not have our faces showing in the main image, due to masking everywhere, so chose to use our feet and the feet are the front of the card and the other Covid related things are on the back of the card. I also did one using my drone to get an aerial shot of us laying on the snow and then played with photoshop to put two photos together to get the floured baking board shot.

This year I never even made it to getting cards printed, so had to hastily make a digital card to send out on Christmas day. Plus, we had no snow for Christmas, so had to couple a few images together to create from winters past. I must get it together next year, masks or no masks, who knows where we will be in the covid world, by then. Hope you all had a great Christmas and I hope no one has any break-through infections from family gatherings.

Looking through my old iPad, I found several more to share. I hope you are not fed up with seeing photos yet. My son was born just a bit over a month before Christmas, so I used an old box to take the unboxing photo of him. Also stuck him in my camera bag.

The door shot of my daughter was at a garden centre and the top of the door ended with nothing above is, so in Photoshop, I created more of the top part of the image by cloning and then added the Santa text to make it complete. I then used it as the front of our next Christmas car, which I also include here.

The snowman we built in January, he lasted over a month. As he was almost melted, I had an idea for a fun second shot of him and we created the second shot of his mostly melted lump left on the ground. With almost no snow left, my daughter wanted to try and make one more snowman, but we just had enough to make a snowwoman and then she wanted a snowbaby. So, we made these last two. Then I took that photo and created the fantasy scene to finish off the rest of the Winter Joy final image.

Filling daddy's boots was a bit of fun, before I taught her to ski, with the last remaining strips of snow.

And finally, I designed a 2015 Christmas card with left over images. This is the front and back of that card. These are just a small number of photos from our Christmas past and present collection.
