Do shipping dates matter right now if they can't get the ships to the docks, nor the containers off the ships and on to trucks?

Could they be shipping by air?

Maybe they are using estimates of when their containers will get unloaded?

I would hate to be an importer right now, knowing that most of my Christmas sale items are locked away in containers I can't get!

Tried to buy a truck or a car lately?

Our daughter and son-in-law bought a new Lexus RX350 about a week or 10 days ago.

Someone reported on the Nikon Z facebook site, that they were notified that their Z9 has shipped to the vendor. That would put it on track with the original date. We'll know in a few days.

Don't think people will cancel and order something else because of the updated ship date. It is just dissapointing as I am departing for my trip on 12/23 and won't return until 1/5. Was really looking forward to having this for my trip. My FTZII is arriving today however.

If this is a vacation, you might enjoy it more by not spending time fussing with a new camera. Either way enjoy the holidays.

Good point. But one man's fuss is another man's passion. Long plane rides and quiet time to learn with the camera. No phones or meetings. Will get it when I get it. Perspective, in 5 years, this delivery time won't mean a thing. It only matters now. Trying to be mature.
Happy holidays to you as well.

...when I got my new Z6 a few years ago I was off on a trip the next day. It was the only camera I took. I shoot Nikon. It was easy and the camera performed flawlessly. <shrug>

Yup today the average is less than $3 around Dallas TX too. Well of course if someone is in CA then over $3 was many years ago.

...yanno, I think my fave camera *to use* is my Z50. I notice you don't have one in your listing...you'd be surprised, and it's affordable! If you do it, the kit lenses are the bomb, too...

Accept shortages and long delays.
I can not get EPDM any earlier than 11 months out now.
It used to be an in-stock item.

For those not involved in construction or building design EPDM is a synthetic rubber roofing membrane with a lifespan of 50 years or more. Used on many of the projects in which I was involved in the design process. I haven't done any of that work in several years so I was not aware of the backlog.

I’m not sure where you’re getting your iPhones from but every time I update my iPhone they are not available for about a month after release date. Pre-orders are taken and about every hour of preorders creates a delay of about a week in shipping date. Perhaps you are somewhere where stores get a better allocation.
