…you got the nictitating membrane on that first one…not something you often get to see…especially on an eagle…speed of the camera and lens working together…excellent catch…!

The Nikkor 200-500 can produce superb images. I use it on the D500 and D810 with wonderful results. In fact, I have culled down my most used lens choices to the Nikkor 24-70, the Nikkor 70-200, the Nikkor 200-500, and the Nikkor 105 (Micro). I have many other focal length lenses, but I find these produce the best balance between sharpness and flexibility.
Your images are very enjoyable.
