Here are a couple of abandoned buildings I came across on a trip to/from Shawnee OK recently. They caught my eye on the way up, and I stopped on the way back to get shots of them. I'm not sure why they caught my eye, but I just felt that the church says something about religion - I don't really know what, and the house is not the normal run of the mill shack. Your thoughts?
I too shoot a lot of rustic shots which includes abandon buildings. I certainly like the ones that you submitted.
Great shots of a sad subject

Awesome character and beauty
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
These are well done. I would like to see the broken window stand out a little more. These beautiful structures seem so out of place even for the dates in which the church was built. It looks to be mies from anything and undoubtedly of architecture and expense well beyond those living in the area at the time. It is very sad. A visual for the adage beauty on the outside is nothing if there isn't something (character, compassion, people) on the inside. And, yes, I wish these buildings could talk. Glad you stopped and captured a piece of history.
