Battery life with my XT2 is VERY limited, so I never "leave home" without a spare battery, and probably should carry two spares for longer shoots.

Very nice pictures!

Another nice thing about the Fujifilm X-T series cameras is that they feel so comfortable in your hand.

If you’re willing to live with the extra weight, the Fuji battery grip holds two additional batteries (plus the one in the camera) and makes it much easier to hold, especially for vertical shooting as well as increasing the FPS to 10. They are surprisingly inexpensive used (check MPB) - just make sure it comes with the “wall wart” charger which allows charging the batteries without removing them from the grip. It was included with the grip when purchased, but often gets lost on used ones.

If the battery grip isn’t to your (or the OP’s) liking, a light weight add on grip really helps with holding any of the Fuji bodies and can be had in the $20 range for good quality aluminum ones.

I am wondering which Fuji model will be better XT3, XT2 or XT4. I am very fascinated by the quality of the JPEG pictures from Fuji. I only want replies from Fuji owners only.
Thank you

I have an XT2 and it is great. The XT3 has better eye follow capability and the XT4 has image stabilization. I would pick the XT3 if you have steady hands. There is no bad choice.

The superiority of the eye detection is why I went from the X-T2 to the X-T3. It is quite a difference.

I've owned all three. Hands down the XT4. A brilliant camera and still going strong.

I have had the X-T2, X-T20. I presently have the X-T30 and X-S10.
I really like the X-S10 for IBIS and the flexible LCD screen. Since I got the X-S10 I hardly use the X-T30 and will probably sell it.

will

I am going to put in a good word for the XH 1. It has in body stabilization and is at least as good as the XT2 if not better. The ergomics are superior to the XT2 and XT3 (even with a battery booster pack).
You can find them used for about $700. If you like shooting without a tripod it's worth a try.
Fuji rumors about a new XH2 release in 2022 are floating around.
I pair this body with a 55-200 and the 80mm macro and achieve very good results.

The XT4 also has weather proofing and dual card shots allowing one to show both raw and jpeg at the same time. When the IBIS is added to a lens with stabilization it is much easier to free hold in less light. It also adds some confidence when shooting water skiers from the boat,(no worries about fresh water splash).

I own the XT3. I am sure the xt4 is very good but I didn't need to spend $1,500+ to get in body stabilization.
If Fuji markets a new XH2 with significant improvements, I will be selling my XT3 and battery pack assuming the ergomics remain the same.
No one camera is for everyone.

It’s a budget question. What ever you can afford, results from the cameras aren’t that different, unless you need ibis. Personally I’d rather have the XT-3 and a lens than the XT-4 body only for about the same $.

I know several pros who love the xt3. I just purchased the xt4 I love the camera, but have only had it a couple of weeks so I don’t have much experience with it. I do love the experience of photographing with the camera. I sold all of my Nikon equipment to change to Fuji. I have not regretted the move. I’m still waiting to receive my 70-300 lens which is still on backorder.

I use the Fringer NIK (G) adaptor to mount Nikon lenses on my FUJIFILM XT-4. Unlike the K&F Concept dumb adapter, the Finger allows electronic communication between the camera and lens to support phase-detect autofocus, face- and eye-detect autofocus, and auto exposure functions. I do own a K&F Concept dumb adapter to mount my NIKON legacy (non-AF) lenses to the XT-4, although I have not tried to do this at this time.
