At the time when I read "1984" in high school who would've thought? Look at all of the security cameras around NOW. Unfortunately this joke is not that far away. I understand that it's meant to be funny and it is, but the reality of it is not that far away.

Future?! I think that's now. A friend bought an Alexa, but he's afraid to connect it.

Nobody cares about HIPPA laws since the virus hit. I have been a subscriber to the symphony and ballet for nearly a decade. I refuse to renew now because I am not going to show them my vaccination records. They will not let you in the building without the records being shown. To me, that is a violation of HIPPA.

People complain about the government having information about them, yet they are willing to give facebook and other social media accounts a day-to-day description of what they are doing. Cute story and afraid oh so true.

If I was that way inclined I could make a fortune out of robbing the houses of those people who tell where and for how long the are going on vacation. They may as well say the key is under the mat.

According to at least one Chinese man, China is very close to the scenario presented here and have been since 4 years ago. He said people are tracked everywhere they go, usually through there phones, and if you jay walk there a fine is automatically taken out of your bank account, for instance. Talk about contact tracing and it's coming here.

Just goes to prove you do not need to carry your phones with you every second of the day.
