These are some re-runs but I've processed them differently. This is a family, very old, cemetery in a nearby town. It sits on a hill in the middle of a pasture on a dairy farm. The cows no longer graze - all indoor and mechanized. The site overlooks Maine's western mountains and off into the White Mountains of NH. The cemetery is no longer kept up and in some ways, that is what attracts me to it, along with the elaborate fencing. Downloads are much clearer.

Both of those photos are excellent. The last one you posted shows what can happens when people loose interest in a cemetery. I suppose in some cases there comes a point where none of the names mean anything to folks, perhaps because then names on the markers have weathered away and all of the decedent's descendants have also passed away.
