Oh, you are also as programmed as the idiots in Dallas, who were waiting for JFK jr to come back from the dead and join Trump for a presidential run in 2024.
Or as selfish as Aaron Rodgers who cost his team at least one win so far this year.
Vaccines have been mandated since they first came out, and they aren’t the only government mandates. Seat belts, speed limits, taxes, selective service, passports etc include just a few of the others.

I've had both shots and the booster. A bit disappointed that I didn't become magnetic, don't glow in the dark or have tentacled creatures in my blood. Why do other people have all the fun?

I heard you got super powers so I spent all day jumping on the trampoline hoping to take off.
Didn’t even get a Mr Microchip fluffy toy after my second shot.

Very happy for your vaccination rates and the health successes it seemingly spawned however, if the news reporting and footage I saw is accurate including riot police beating lockdown protesters, a man being beaten and arrested for walking outside his home without a mask, the vaccination success may be partially due to overly oppress lockdown measures and people willing to do anything for some semblance of normalcy.

If that’s Australia, don’t believe any media. Those protesters were domestic terrorists. There was a group going there for nothing but taking on the police and rioting. I watched all the live streams and they were pathetic. They took a reporter, put him in a headlock, poured urine over him and same reporter later hit in the back of the head with a can. They attacked innocent people, even a woman trapped alone in her car with her young child.
They were an absolute disgrace.

General population totally supported the police and government. The vaccine wasn’t forced on us. The only ones feeling forced are anti-vaxxers and they are very few in this country.

There is also plenty of evidence that those who did get vaccinated get milder illness. Just ask those who got Covid with or without the vaccine.

No one doubts that...it is basically the only good thing about the vaccines...it does what it is designed to do.

It still does not answer why one person has a strong position on whether others should do it as well.

It's a personal choice...which does not impact anyone else.

It certainly is not the business of the government...or politics.

Someone with an unpreventable illness may get sick or die because they were delayed hospital treatment. Hospital resources will be taken up by unvaccinated Covid patients using health resources. Unvaccinated people chose to get potentially sick.

Being vaccinated myself, I still don’t want Covid. I am more likely to get it from an unvaccinated person than anyone else.

Unvaccinated people affect the health of the general population by their own selfish choice and a very stupid choice.

Good to know but the BBC, NBC, CNN, A.P., U.S. News, Al Jazeera and others all reported that Sydney, Canberra and the whole state of New South Whales was under total lockdown as late as Oct 15, 2021 (not sure what current status is) and the government employed the military to help enforce lockdowns and instituted $3,000 au fines for anyone caught in public without a permit for the most essential personnel. If true it does sound a wee bit coercive.

Isn’t it amazing how a site devoted to understanding and promoting photographic skills can turn into a political screed. That’s why i left Facebook, now Meta. If you want to spout political nonsense, go join a conspiracy group, and leave Hedgehog for those of us who want to further our skills, not listen to nonsense.

NSW were soft! lol
I’m in Victoria. We had the longest lockdown in the world! Yes, big fines, curfews, ring of steel, unprecedented government powers passed. Why? It was required to control the domestic terrorists. Vast majority of the population supported the government and the lockdown. Our vax rates clearly show this. We are all incredibly happy, almost back to normal and our “Dictator Dan” state Premier, as the anti-vax labelled him, will absolutely smash the next election.

Don’t take me as pro government. I’m just one of the majority of our population who understood what it would take to get out of the Covid mess.

Hopefully other countries will follow. It’s sad to read the situation in some of the other parts of the world.

It would be nice if our Dept. of Homeland Security would vaccinate the masses crossing the border instead of simply letting them pass thru and then flying them to various cities across the nation where they will mingle with the people and families there.

I’ve been vaccinated and got the booster an hour ago. I am pro vaccine and have counseled family members to get the jab. I do find you examples of other mandates rather disingenuous. Wearing a seat belt or paying taxes is not equivalent to introducing a foreign substance into your body. Some among us believe that if you have natural immunity you should not be mandated to get vaccinated or loose you job and income if you don’t. One size does not fit all.

I'm not a fan of Bill, but the research I read about this is that they were trying to develop a birth control vaccine for women. Birth control in some undeveloped regions, you can imagine, is difficult. It wasn't that a vaccine was "laced" with a hormone, it was simply two components added in a single vial for an enhanced effect. The women knew what they were getting, and why. These vaccines were also not to be administered to men or women not in the study group. Someone politicized it (OMG, WHO WOULD DO THAT?).

Bravo for you guys. Nice to see that happen. What we need here in this country is a vaccine for stupidity first, then maybe we could have numbers like yours.

The unvaccinated are still dying at a much greater number than the vaccinated. Hopefully, Darwinism will still be the operant principle. What I don’t understand is why the red state governors and legislators are doing everything they can to diminish their base by promoting the theories that will help them kill themselves.
