And "many" are not.
I've had it on my Yoga 2n1 laptop for a week. No issues. Initial install my fingerprint scanner stopped working, at a subsequent update 2 days later it was working, and all appears good!
No problems with lightroom or Photoshop.

Great! I didn't say everyone was having problems. Awhile back I read a review on windows 11, and it suggested that it looked like it was directed at gamers. I'm sticking with windows 7 & 10.
I found it best to buy a new computer.
Parts in your old computer are wearing out.
I have upgraded 2 of my laptops with no problems. All of my software migrated perfectly. The win 11 upgrade comes with an "assistant" that does all the heavy lifting. I upgraded my Dell (Insperion ??) I7 and my Aspire5 (acer) and in both cases all I did was push a button, The assistant checks your system verifying compatibility and proceeds to upgrade. Two reboots later and all is well in win 11 land. On both machines all my software operates as per normal this includes Adobe CC subscription, I O Bit software (Malware, Uninstaller, Drive updater and Advanced system Care), Liber Office, PDF creator, Chrome and Brave, Canon software including printer and camera (pro 100, 5DSr, ect.)
I have helped neighbors make the upgrade and I do not know of a single problem to date.
I have been running Win 11 for several months. No problems but I don't see any advantage to it. I wouldn't jump to install.
I have two PC's. One is a desktop (main computer) and one is a laptop (my emergency-standby-backup computer). I installed Win 11 on the laptop and one thing jumped out immediately.
I'm one of the few people I know that puts the taskbar on the side of the screen rather than the bottom. Windows 11 does not permit that. It only allows it to be at the bottom. With a registry hack you can move it to the top and it will work up there. The same hack will move it to either side, but it isn't functional there.
Hopefully the ability to move the taskbar to the side will be restored before too long.

Has anyone installed Windows 11? Are there a lot of bugs?
I am planning to install it this weekend. I'll clone my boot drive first and if I don't like it all I have to do is to exchange boot drives.

Nope and don't plan to till they threaten no more support for 10. And of course they're will be bugs, hundreds if not thousands of um. Hence the updates every day/ week when a new OS is released.
There's new software to help with that. It's called "RAID-PC".

WAIT. Don't jump. Let others debug. Latest: they lost track of certifie updates, killing key features.
It takes months.
