After going thru 5 1/2 weeks of radiation treatments for stage 2 prostate cancer. I got to ring a big brass bell in a hallway near the radiation area, after my last treatment. They asked me if I wanted to, and I said, hell yeah!
The good news is that my PSA level was checked the week before, and it was down to .002.
It will be checked again on 12/22. Hopefully, it will be down to 0 by then. That will be the best Christmas present I could get.
All men should have their PSA levels checked between the ages of 50-59.
The earlier prostate cancer can be detected, the better the survival chances are.

The PSA test is quick and easy. Better than the digital test.

Last month I received the "all clear" after five years from the discovery of my prostate cancer. It can be done, Will!

Good you you - may you live a long and happy life, and thanks for bringing attention to this important issue.
I was treated with protons at Loma Linda in California five years ago. I continue to have a very low PSA & I get checked every six months for a medical study I enrolled in when I first started proton therapy. The cancer is long gone. Knowing my PSA and learning about proton therapy saved my life, without a doubt.
