Oh bother. I still regret upgrading from windows 7 to 10. I hate the updates. I am on Hugesnet and Windows 10 updates use up me data allowance costing big bucks.🤬

There are hacks to disable the updates, but you shouldn’t. The updates to Windows defender and others protect against vulnerabilities to viruses, hackers and malware.

That is typical for every new version since it takes a little while to figure out what processes we can turn off and such.
From the factory it's not configured for specific users but being a beta it runs all the bells and whistles whether we use them or not.

I was on a long business trip when Windows 10 was installed on my laptop without my permission, and it crashed my machine. Lost data and the use of the computer at the worst possible time. Had to reinstall everything.

I work with the Windows insider program and It all depends on your CPU. If you have an AMD processor do not install Win 11. It can and will slow your computer down by about 25% as the max. and common style usage about 10 top 15 percent.

I reported that I was having no problems running Windows 11 and the newest version of Photoshop. That’s still true, but a few of my older plugins no longer work, but I tried the same plugins in Photoshop CS6 also on Windows 11 and they worked. The problem therefore is with Photoshop. Luckily for me all the newer stuff works, half of the old, and all the stuff from Topaz.
