"Politicians are Idiots." No, they are not idiots, that is excusable. Politicians pander to many supporters and bribery. They fail to have 5-year plans and in unison work toward goals. Our Democrats vs Republicans system is childlike and the Republicans, especially now, block progress to make the Democrats look bad and there is no regard for the American people. Republicans are infected with Trumpites disease and are not the who I voted for along the way.
McConnell died a few years ago and is still in the Senate animated by Disney. His script is simple, " we will vote in unison and are against everything." Sad but true. Then there is the Republican who claims to be a Democrat... #9 Coal Baron Manchin who as the song goes, "every day gets richer while You load 16 tons of #9 coal, what do you get? Another day older and deeper in debt." The truth of the W Virginia economy that he represents.

Racmanaz and Blurryeyed... 50/50 yes, but the Republicans vote as a block, in unison. If it were so with the Democrats then with the VP, then they would have power. The filibuster is another tool that McConnell uses or threatens to use. Unfortunately, Cole mine ower Senator Manchin and Senator Kyrsten Sinema are against the program for vague reasons. Manchin's daughter is heavy into drugs... management of them and the profits... so her father, the Senator, is against negotiation on drug prices.

Not quite the founding fathers, rather some of them. And as to the Living Constitution, have you ever heard people say the Constitution was carved from stone, not to be changed. Ever. Both sides have their faults, Most of America is in the middle, that's why elections are so close. In Arizona, nearly one third of registered voters are registered Independents. Neither party meets their needs. That is a problem.
It is the same founders who actually wrote the Constitution that also wrote the federalist papers, so it is pretty clear what they meant.
And, no it was not carved in stone. They wrote a mechanism into the Constitution for amendments and wrote the first 10 amendments for us. It is designed to be changed by the amendment process, not by judges reinterpreting what the document means.
I'm not arguing with you about either political party, but as far as the Constitution goes, they are crystal clear what they intended.

Jeez, as if the democrats have not used the filibuster against every republican president for the last 150 years..... Senators Manchin and Sinema seem to be the only two democrats that have a lick of sense and I thank God every day for their continued resolve.

You know nothing about the court and its formation nor the arguments surrounding the formation of the court..... I bet you go so far as to support the current push to pack the court... Denny you are a poor example to one who has a sworn oath to our country's constitution. If the democrats are really concerned about political influence on the court they would be working on a constitutional amendment that would place checks and balances on the court as that was an oversight in our constitution, but no, the demonics really support the politicalization of the court except they want to to be fully in their favor so that they can once and for all destroy the constitution as we know it, hence, we see their continued calls for court packing that only further politicizes the court but this time it will be in their favor, I am sure that you comrade are fully on board.

LOL.... You could choose to lose with grace, but nah, somehow you thought this would be better.... Squawk on my delusional friend.
Name one author of one anti-federalist paper... We will wait. Don't give us a "most likely".
Note that they were published before and designed to prevent the ratification of the constitution... something they failed to do. So citing them as an example of what the framers, who did not use pen names to write the federalist papers and who wrote the constitution is specious at best.

Also, our orbit and poles wobble... We are in an interglacial period of the current ice age... the last ice age isn't over- we are in it. The ice sheets will expand again, climate experts are not sure why.
One hypothesis, gone over in my class on anthropology back in the 80's was that when oceans warm, ocean current travel farther north rather than not mix with arctic waters, this brings colder water down against europe and our west coast, ice sheets build, and once they get big enough, their thermal mass and white reflective nature of snowfields year round begin to set up their own weather patterns. Glaciers build each year... till a critical mass is reached. .
We just got out of a little ice age- though more accurately a cooling period from the 1300's to late 1800's, its been warming up ever since. google: "Little Ice Age".
We do have a pollution problem that electric cars don't answer, they just move it. Carbon footprint of an electric car in total is more than a gas car due to manufacturing and current raw materials needed in current technology. Electricity has to come from somewhere. The grid could not currently support all electric cars.
So if the issue is pollution, then i'm all for less pollution. But the only climate deniers are the deniers that climate does not change.

As a constitutional conservative I believe in the constitution as written. It is NOT a flexible document/ The founders included a mechanism for changing the document, that has been used over v2 dozen times. Amendment. However they left out the mechanism to determine if a law does not adhere to the tenets of the constitution. There needed tp be an ammendment to address this omission. However the supreme TOOK it upon themselves that role in ONE case. Marbury V Madison. One might argue that the power of the court to deckare a law acceptable or not is UNCONSTITUTIONAL. That document and the country that it formed invented a new form of society, Freedom. It had never happened befpre. And that country has brought more success to more of it's citizens than has any other country, berfore of since it's founding. The more we deviate from the intent of the constitution as written the more we risk losing the freedom it gauranteed. The 2 bills the house is considering deviate substantially from the intent of the constitution. If the 2400 page "infrastructure" bill passes as written it will, in many ways, hasten the countries demise. YES it is that dangerous. Be very afraid. We will ,if passed, be further along the path to a socialist dictatorship. Just exactly what the early progressives (at the start of the 20th century) intended and planned for. Be very careful. what you wish for.

You must have read my mind this morning, I couldn't think of a thing or item that was manufactured without oil in some form or degree. Getting rid of the use of petroleum and you have nothing, lower the oil production will cause all of those product costs and prices to sky rocket and guess what happens then? Lefties don't think about these consequences.
But, we can't depend on oil production forever, we will eventually have to use some other technology (renewable energy) to replace oil.
