Many photographers slow their shutters when photographing moving water in order to (they think) better show the movement (especially waterfalls and rapids). This creates a blurred and milky water effect, which I think defeats the object and looks most un-natural.
Your shot is beautiful and totally natural from your GX85 at 1/100.
Now that you told me what you were referring to it should have been obvious. I've been guilty and I still blur the water on occasion but less than I used to. I love the GX85 with in body and in lens stabilization. I seldom carry a tripod any more. This image is a two shot vertical panorama. You are most kind with the compliment and I thank you.
