Beautifully done, Elliott. Especially love the blue heron in the tree. I went to your Flickr page to see it. For some reason, only the top half of the blue heron photo showed on my monitor.
Thanks so much, Joe. The full photo in Flickr shows on my monitor and on my iPhone.

Very nice…as always! I need to get off my butt and get down there. What lens did you use for these, and is there a quiet time to be there? I think I know the answer to that one.
Thanks very much. Quiet time is now - the activity increases significantly the closer we get to Nov and then the area is always full of photographers. Last year in Nov. I had to park in a remote lot and take a bus to the area.
I use a 500mm prime lens (my longest). The most common lens used there is 600mm.

Love, love, love the juvie, Elliott. Can’t wait till you start posting more into eagle season.
Magnificent captures, Elliott!!
Wonderful set of excellent images, Elliot. Great BIF's
Superb series in every way! Job well done, spot-on focus, clarity, and highly detailed.
Hello, nice shots. Which parking lot were you in for these shots? I visited in July and the sun rose opposite the river so any shots would be extremely backlit. I am contemplating going later this month, but I just wonder whether there is a vantage point that allows the sun to be behind the photographer. Thanks for your time.
Wow! BIF is such an interesting and challenging photographic niche, stunning when well-executed - and these certainly are! Thanks for sharing!
Those are all awesome shots -- sharp and perfectly lighted.
