NO! I NEVER feed the alligators. Besides being against the law here, having alligators associate people with food is a VERY bad idea for several reasons.
Whenever you hear about a 'nuisance' gator on a golf course or neighborhood pond for instance that approaches and acts aggressively toward people it's almost always the result of someone feeding it.
Wild alligators as a rule prefer to not interact with humans.

Maybe they think golf balls are marshmellows?

Swamp, can I call you that?LOL...

OK seriously, I live around and see gators just about daily, I have never seen your take on them. Just wonderful, and thanks so much, I now have new motivation. I know they are magnificent creatures, but I was finding them dull to photograph. You must have amazing patience though. I know they are not grabbing that crab, etc. like these action shots imply. In other words, most of the time they are still life's..LOL..

I will never view them the same....again thanks so much!

Since the gator is eating blue crabs I guess he must originally be from Maryland.
