Just look at the name, RNA is part of our genetic makeup

Yes, sort of. I thought our genes were DNA. But never mind. Your statement doesn't answer my question.
Your said the Pfizer shot modifies our genes. This is frightening.
Please tell me how the Pfizer shot has modified my genes.

Unfortunately these are not vaccines, they are genetic modifiers and one thing we know about anything genetically modified is that they don't live as long as the non GMO.

This is not correct; mRNA vaccines are not genetic modifiers. Messenger RNA (mRNA) is a molecule that directs a cell to produce a particular protein molecule; they are produced within a cell and are destroyed in the process of producing the protein molecule. With a vaccine, the protein that is produced is a protein of the virus that can trigger an immune reaction. So using mRNA vaccines is a means to generate the protein of a virus that triggers an immune reaction, without a resulting infection (where the virus causes a cell to replicate the virus).

The mRNA does not alter a person's RNA. If you want to know how a mRNA works, read this article, It explains it well. https://www.civilbeat.org/2021/04/what-is-mrna-heres-a-crash-course-on-what-it-does/

I didn’t know the Moderna booster was available yet. The last I heard it was at least a few weeks away.

Evidently, that’s “approval” that’s a few weeks away.

Vaccinations don’t alter ones DNA, or destroy ones immune system. That is poppycock.

Just doing the math, doing my part, looking out for ourselves and others. ❤️ Does not guarantee we won’t get Covid, but we are a lot less likely to die from it.

Interesting that the news media shows anti-vaxers on their death bed telling people to get the vaccine when 6 months ago they were told the same but wouldn't get the vaccine. In the death care business and we received our shots early to make sure we were able to keep working. Though COVID has been politicized it is real. I have sympathy for the family that looses a loved one but it is hard to have empathy for those that get COVID and did not get a shot. It's real, and with the vaccine you can still contract the virus, you are very less likely to die from it. You may be asymptomatic but you can then spread it to those unvaccinated. It's like the flu shot people get every year hoping they got some protection from whatever strand is prevalent for the year, but this vaccine is designed just for the corona virus. Enough said, stay safe.

If you've received the Moderna vaccine for two shots, check with you doctor as to whether he recommends getting a Pfizer booster anyway. He doesn't even have to write a prescription for you to get it, but see what he says. There has been research done in other countries such as Israel that show the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines are virtually interchangeable.

Not true.

Wife and I got our first vaccines in March and the second in April. Since we got Moderna, they probably won't suggest the third booster.

Moderna submitted data to FDA requesting approval of a booster at one-half the dose of the first two injections you received.

Good for you. But death is not the only thing to worry about. Studies are now showing up to one-third of COVID survivors are showing cognitive symptoms such as slow thinking, difficulty concentrating, and fatigue. Questions are whether or how much these symptoms appear in people that get COVID after being vaccinated, and whether these symptoms are permanent or how long they last. It is worrisome that they are finding things in the brains of autopsied casualties that don't belong there.

So we are vaccinated, still wear masks and engage in social distancing, and plan to get booster shots whenever they are available.
Good for you. But death is not the only thing to ... (show quote)

Residual effects: 'cognitive symptoms such as slow thinking, difficulty concentrating, and fatigue?' So for me, I guess there would be no difference between before and after. Seriously, if you have not yet done so, get those shots my friends. I have several friends who decided against the vaccines, caught the disease, and ended up desperately wishing they had been vaccinated.

Let darwin take care of stupidity.

Though I hope people will survive their stupidity over this matter, the question is who was stupid. Time will surely tell.

Since there are so many very bright people here concerning virology and immunology, would one of you please explain why ADE is finally nothing to worry about?

ADE is always something to worry about.
And ADE would be a consideration if vaccinated folks were getting sicker and dying more than the unvaccinated.
But that's not happening.

The graph from Israel shows severe illness in the unvaccinated, the vaccinated without booster (poorly translated as "impulse" by Google translate) and the vaccinated with booster.
