Nice photos, it amazes me how monarchs find milkweed.

Having noticed that there was a paucity of Monarch Butterflies here in Central Florida I purchased Milkweed plants and "voila" , within a few days we had eggs deposited and 4-5 days later caterpillars. In the last 2 months we've released 17 Monarchs into the wild and are now frequently seeing them around the neighborhood. We have been naming each of them for a famous or infamous monarch. The last 2 captures are males that you could crown (name) for me....

Well done.

Great series and even better idea to add to the Monarch population, especially in your area. Bev
