As a documentary style image it succeeds. You have in fact shown the falls. However you have also showed us a number of people and a large degree of intervening foliage.
I've never been there/seen it, and yet my hunch is that those folks shown down below have a clearer sight line.
Flat sunlight is not helping your cause much.

I like the photograph. The people give a size comparison and the falls show a lot of water going over. It works for me.

I really like the foliage between the viewer and the falls. I like that the water is water and not whipped cream or milk. I would probably have tried to get it without people, but I realize that might have been difficult.

Hmmm, not bothered by the fact that there are people below, they can add perspective or scale or direction if they are looking at the falls. Guess I was at first looking at the prominent foliage on the bottom left and thinking I might rather see the bottom of the falls. On further closer inspection the the download, the foliage is a problem because if you look at it, it is in focus, but then you find that the falls are not in focus. I'm not sure if keeping the foliage there and in focus will help the viewer initially think that it is all in focus or not. My first criticism would be regarding the falls not in focus.

Beautiful shot. I loved the detail in the download. The on-lookers add a nice touch of color and scale.

Have you considered a tighter crop? I rewoked the photo, cutting out the people altogether and still emphasized the power of the falls. I can post with your permission.
