Red-Shouldered Hawk?

It is a great Hawk shot ! - but it is NOT a Red Shouldered ...... definitely a juvie - most likely Coopers ....IMO.

I don't believe that it is a Red Shoulder hawk. This definitely is. She come to my feeding station every year for the last 8 years.

Don’t lean too far toward Coopers ‘cause this IS a juvie red-shouldered…classic buteo white patches on nape, and most wing coverts and stubby dark chevrons on chest& belly- Coopers has longer, more lanceolate markings on chest.

I got a picture yesterday of what is definitely a Red-Shouldered hawk.
