Sounds like a major fungus problem.
Your only solution is to sell the camera and lens and buy an i phone 14.

Not really! I think it's the problem with the photographer. You would need to discard and replace the photographer.

Perimeter of lens hood in wide angle shot (rubber hood inadvertently left extended). Happens to me once in a while and I just crop it out.

You can easily adjust for the vignetting in Photoshop.

Its helpful if you post an illustrative image - BUT, most likely you're talking about - - Vignetting (vin-Yetting)
https://www.digital-photo-secrets.com/tip/3474/what-is-vignetting-how-can-i-avoid-it-or-get-rid-of-it/
Also - if you are using a crop lens on a full-frame camera - you will also get vignetting.
Try shooting with a smaller aperture - ie f/8 instead of f/5.6

ALWAYS post an image if the OP expects helpful comments. Guessing about this: are you using a cropped lens with a full frame body?

This is dart board time. That's what I got this time when I threw the dart. Without an image + EXIF metadata all bets are off

Good luck on finding out any information from the OP.

Being of generous mind, perhaps the OP has a language problem and is a newbie. While I don't apologize for my remarks, to the OP: we need more information - we cannot read your mind.

More information is needed including the image in question and don't strip the EXIF information.

I love the irony. Here you are with your usual cryptic post, asking for answers to a question you haven’t clearly asked and you’re complaining that you don’t understand the detailed answer that someone took the time to give.

And he never clearly asks a question.
