Its helpful if you post an illustrative image - BUT, most likely you're talking about - - Vignetting (vin-Yetting)

Also - if you are using a crop lens on a full-frame camera - you will also get vignetting.
Try shooting with a smaller aperture - ie f/8 instead of f/5.6

It would be helpful to see an example. Are you by chance using more than one filter?

What is your current breathing rate? If it is greater than 12 to 14 breathes per minute you may be entering into hyperventilation... cause? anxiety?
So down... share with others here the specifics of your perceived issue
