It came up 1 year short (80 - 80) + 40 = 40. I was born in 1941.

It worked for me, and my birthday is next month.
On your birthdate next month you will be a year older than you are today.

LOL.
But if you are not kidding:
80-87 = -7
-7+40 = 33

I worked with the numbers and I found that I was born in 2019 on a month with a Latin name “ Octaminus”

It would have worked for me if I had not had my birthday yet. So it was a year off. I am 74 and born in 47. But if taken before my birthday at age 73 it would have worked.
Didn't work for me. 80 - 65 = 15 + 40 = 55. I was born in 56.
