Don't give a RA about their "rolling" ability.

I don't bow to "high rollers".

You and me both, I couldn't agree with you more.

I was in a similar situation a few yrs ago. Flying to DEN, stuck in ORD because of weather and bad booking. It finally came down to me and another billigerent man that was cursing the ticket agent out.
He insisted he was special and was so abusive I was about to intervene.
Long story short , I got the seat.
Mom taught me you can catch more flies with honey than with vinegar.

Rule number THREE of travel: Do NOT forget to bring your sense of humor (and your patience) with you!

(Rules one and two famously being: Bring HALF the clothes you think you will need and TWICE the money! )

When these lines get long it is often better to call the airline!

What a great attitude for a cop.

Good one. I read in the Boston Globe yesterday that customers in restaurants are getting loud and rude. I guess they mean more so.

This story had been circulating on the internet for donkeys years and probably that’s all it is, a story. Why so many people are getting so upset about a humorous story is beyond me.

I think he meant that remark as tongue-in-cheek.

Your Mom and my Dad went to the same school, I think. That was one of his favorite quotes, and it definitely works!

Yes, but... I'd blame Virgin, not the service rep. I mean, having ONE rep for a long line of passengers... While the specific customer might have been rude, if I had paid for a FIRST CLASS ticket, I'd expect FIRST CLASS service, and that wouldn't be standing in line with a bunch of economy (MY class) passengers. Comes down to "value for money", and alienating a high roller is perhaps NOT the best business practice...

I guess bigger seats, adequate legroom to stretch out, endless free drinks, personal service, and a privacy curtain so you won’t have to see the unwashed masses isn’t enough?! You now get to break line?! Geeezzz!

You must be retired, because now, the officer is always wrong. At least in his dealing with minorities.
