Nikon will no longer include USB-C charger with its Z7, Z7 II mirrorless camera systems
Nikon Japan says the omission of the EH-7P charger is due to the ongoing global semiconductor shortage.

Well, this certainly hampers my ability to achieve the level of photographer I dreamed of becoming. How am I supposed to work with a camera I can charge? That'd be like shooting with my view camera without being able to put film in the holders.

You may have meant “can’t”.
But you can charge the battery in the camera with the usb cable. Or buy a charger for about $10.

Or you can charge the battery all day long with the AC charger, which will still be included.

Thats a no brainer, don't buy the camera!!!!
That is like Toyota saying they won't supply front seat because of a shortage of foam rubber.

As mentioned above you will still get a charger. You won't get the charger that charges the battery in camera. No big deal for me, since when a battery gets low I put a fully charged battery in the camera and the low battery goes into the charger.
NikonUSA shows an MH-25a included. That's the charger that comes with many Nikon DSLRs and Mirrorless cameras.
