I saw a review last night of a new keyboard that is completely configurable. It's the Launch System76. It seems to be aimed at gamers, but I'm satisfied with this colored LED Azio keyboard.

My keyboard is fine the way it is. I don't feel a need to change it.

You have already had way to many problems with various keyboards, and we have heard about all of them from you. You need something to do besides posting 7 useless items like today.

Wow - get used to the layout of a keyboard for decades - and I would want to reconfigure it why??? Maybe a good test of mental status: "We are going to rearrange your keyboard, and want to see how long it takes you to get used to it...."

Some people are determined to let trivial things bother them.

I, for one, always enjoy reading posts by Jerry. Perhaps its because I think we look like we could be twins. Or maybe its because sometimes general chit chat would just be empty without him.

Maybe it can be configured for sophisticated programs like Photoshop, Lightroom, other photo apps, Logic Pro, video apps, etc. If it makes working with those programs without going through menus, or using menus less, it might be worth it. Maybe it can make using them more enjoyable. I can’t tell how they can be configured without downloading the app.

The letters are arranged on the QWERTY keyboard specifically to slow typing speed.

DVORAK keyboards are far faster.

I am perfectly capable of making fatfinger mistakes on the QWERTY keyboard at up to 100 wpm. Just think of what I could do with a Dvorak keyboard.

(I reached 120 in my youth with a manual typewriter).

Yes, I bet it could be configured to make Adobe programs easier and faster to use. Apparently, using their app, you can make any key do anything.

For 17 years I was an IBM CE.

I worked in the field and reconditioning centre servicing IBM "Golfball"
typewriters, word processors and electronic composers (before all that stuff was made obsolete)
by PCs an associated printers.)
Anyway as you can imagine i met some skilled typists and Stenographers.

The fastest I ever met was a Medical Typist that
worked at The Princess Margaret Hospital For Neo Natals in Western Australia.
She was close to 200 WPM (that's about twice the normal speed of speech)
with 99.99% accuracy. I made a point of making the machines in that
typing pool better than brand new.
