Sounds like a good deal to me..... would like to hear from some folks who us it.... before I buy ........

I have the trial version and thought it was a fairly decent program dedicated to portrait photography. Although, I only played with it, I found it intuitive. I would recommend it as a part of your software arsenal if you think there's even a chance of needing it in the future. With the free upgrade, I would say its a no-brainer. I'm going to pick up since I hope to get into portrait photography.

DB SAID: Imagine that... an engineer with a mind that has a will of its own.

I am still contemplating that one,,, humm,,, Like Frankenstein's Monster, we are many, the gadget maker who take shooting time to make a one use gadget at twice the price of an already made one (that is some one else, no not me!)

Artistic side: hand made ceramics, painting, photography, writing, as well as engineering/chemistry/environmental.

Took a hand made pottery course once, filled with tech people escaping the confines of tech stuff and being creative... all it takes is a little wine! a little second hand smoke and being anonymous.

I have it and love it! But, I am always careful not to over use because it can distort the subjects face. How do you make it a plug in to PS so I dont have to switch back and forth?

Been reading the manual...

This is morphing more than anything else (if you recall the early days of digital photography.

Close a mouth? Move the nose? Change the eyebrow? Man you can take anyone and make them look like anything.

I did expect something more 'subtitle' that does not change how a person look. You can already do that just when you take the picture! First with the make-up hairstyle then with the posing.

You can make a girl of 12 look much older and a girls with pimples look like a gorgeous woman.

All done on negative film and scanned from them.

I have other samples made in a lab (instead of studio method)

There are three levels of PPro, Consider the first two 39 and 59, the 59 does a lot more in terms of file handeling. Also 59$ allows use as PS plugin. If you buy the $39 first then realize that you really want the $59 they want $30 to make the next $20 step! OOOps.

The 3rd is a 64 bit and costs 100+.

Also look in Popular photography and get an additional 10% off so that is $4 and $6 respectively,,, or 35 and 53 with that extra 10%

The program is easy to use and has a hand holding wizard that says next we do this, then you click next and it tells the next step.
