There are advantages to each. From pixel density to low light performance. Wildlife and street have very different demands. I think, given the direction you are going, and if cost is an issue, the 6D is the choice. If cost is not an issue, go with the 5. But you will be happy with the switch either way.
Do you like to post process or do you avoid it? that is another issue.
